Police have charged a 36-year-old Papaaloa man for several offenses, stemming from an incident on Aug. 2 in Hilo, as well as an incident in Laupahoehoe on April 1.
Police have charged a 36-year-old Papaaloa man for several offenses, stemming from an incident on Aug. 2 in Hilo, as well as an incident in Laupahoehoe on April 1.
Timothy J. Nacis, was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal property damage, four counts of first-degree terroristic threatening, one count of unauthorized entry into a dwelling, one count of second-degree theft and two firearms offenses, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
His bail has been set at $200,000. The incident in Hilo involved Nacis threatening several individuals at a Kaumana residence, breaking windows and making threats with a firearm. The Laupahoehoe incident involved the theft of a large Honda generator.
Nacis is being detained at the Hilo Police Station Cellblock awaiting his initial court appearance.
